All I can say today Lord is Thank you! Thank you for allowing me to meet the goal of 100% support by March 1st. Thank you Lord for my family and friends who loved me and came alongside me in this part of the journey! Thank you Lord for your awesome provision of wisdom and connections that I might share how Christ has worked in my life and bring You Glory!
I am thankful for those of you who have sacrificially given to not just send me back to NOLA but to join me in this Kingdom work of transforming lives in the mission field that follows crisis...to invest in the lives of the next generation...to make His name glorious!
Now that I'm headed back to NOLA, I feel even more aware of my need for prayer support. I can't do anything without God and I am asking you to continue to pray for me and the ministry God has called me to. We are facing transitions and the need for everyone on staff to be fully supported as well. Please lift us up in prayer as often as you can!
Pray for this coming month as volunteer teams are coming down to serve that we would be on fire to serve them with all we are and plant seeds in the minds of all volunteers of how they can come serve with us for a longer period of time. Pray for the college teams coming that God would work in their lives and call them to come back as interns this summer! Please pray Matthew 9:38 and "Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers into His harvest field."
again THANK YOU LORD for saving us, for reconciling us to the Father that we may put our faith in you!
God bless yall!
Love,
Katie

ALL GLORY BE TO OUR GOD!!
PRAISE GOD FOR 100% SUPPORT!!!!!!! TO GOD BE THE
GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!
I praise God for this journey! It wasn’t always easy or
easygoing but God was with me the whole time and I praise Him for His
provision! I praise Him for the Body of Christ that came alongside me to either
pray, give, encourage, etc to see me live out the calling God has put on my
life. I thank God for each one of you!!
I praise God for the lessons He taught me along the way
which I don’t know if I can put them into words yet but definitely learned a
lot about trusting God for sure and in my weakness, He is strong!
I leave tomorrow for the Southeast District Conference in
FL, back late Saturday. So I’ll most likely be getting on the road
sometime next week! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
Love you all very much and can’t thank you enough for your
partnership with me to see God’s kingdom advanced here on earth!
Your sister in Christ,
Katie :)
For 100%, Psalm 100 is very very appropriate!!
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all
generations.
Praising God for 96%!!! Pray for the remaining 4%!!!
Dear Awesome Friends and Family!
One week ago today I wrote to you telling you I was 74%
supported with 15 days left to reach my goal of 100% support by March 1st.
As you can see by my subject line, God in His amazing
goodness, faithfulness, and all out LOVE has raised up 22% of my support in 7
days!!!!! WOW! What a HOLY righteous God we serve!! He knows our needs
and continues to provide! HE is the ultimate provider of all things and
deserves all the glory, honor, and praise for what He has done!
So yes today, right now, I am currently $188/month away
from full support! I PRAISE GOD already for how He will meet this last 4%!
I pray that if you feel led to give then God will give you the strength and
obedience to do just that. It is all for the GLORY OF GOD to further His
work on earth!
Let me know by replying to this email if you are interested
in helping me get back to New Orleans fully supported!
Love yall LOTS!
And yes PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD!!!!!
Katie :)
Psalm 96:1-4a for 96%!
Sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth.
Sing to the LORD, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise!

Praising God for 74%
Praise God for the
chance to see my girl Laura while in NOLA last week! Praise God for putting her
in my life!
Praise God for 74% already committed! $1230/month
still needed!
Please pray and ask God if He would desire for you to
partner with me in His kingdom work! I can’t do this without God, your
prayers, and your partnership! This Kingdom work is meant to: bring God glory;
make Christ known by raising up this next generation to live out the calling
God has given them; grow His kingdom; bring Him even more praise; love God and
love His people; see the mission field created in the wake of crisis; humbly
walk in obedience; and make the most of every opportunity to show Christ’s love
in actions and in words in those unique opportunities. IT’S ALL ABOUT
CHRIST!
Please help me reach 100% support by March 1st (yes that is in 15 days) and send me back
to New Orleans that I may live out my calling to “admonish and teach
everyone with all wisdom, so that I may present everyone fully mature in
CHRIST! (Colossians 1:28-29).
Reaching full support by March 1st will allow me
the opportunity to serve alongside the college teams that come. Last
March, 4 of the summer interns, Justin, Brandon, Jane, and Dustin, committed to the internship after their spring
break trip. I’d love to invest in these college students so that they
would allow God to begin speaking to them about what an internship could look
like. I cannot return to New
Orleans for good until I’ve reached 100% in monthly/annual giving. I
am now back in the Carolinas and will continue to network from here until the
goal is met.
If you know of anyone who may be interested in partnering
with me, feel free to pass this email along to them! Thank you for
your prayers and willingness to get the word out!
Please keep the Quest and myself in your prayers! God can do
the seemingly impossible! AMEN!
Love ya!
Katie :)

God's Provision Still Blowing Me Away
I am blessed right now to be typing this post from our office in the warehouse on the back of Trinity Church's parking lot in Covington LA!!
Just seeing God's provision in the sentence above is blowing me away right now:
1) God's provision of technology that I can bring Him glory through this post
2) God's provision of office space to bring Him glory through the efforts behind the scenes that make it possible to go out onto the front lines!
3) God's provision of a warehouse for our ministry that is only 6.5 years old on Trinity Church's property to bring Him glory
4) God's provision of this opportunity to be back in Louisiana!! why? to bring Him glory!
God alone is worthy to be praised for everything! "For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things and in him all things hold together." Colossians 1:16-17
I was extremely blessed to have the opportunity to reconnect with my NJ dads and continue on in my quest for ministry partners in PA too! HUGE shout out to everyone who housed me, fed me, fixed my car, prayed with me, prayed for me, encouraged me...I am thankful to God for each one of you!
On Wednesday night this week, myself, Jen, and Chelsea were able to have dinner at the home of Keith and Kathy. This awesome couple allowed us to use their home last summer to house the girl interns + Jen (and myself on occasion!) This house was a HUGE answered prayer in that we only had to cover utilities and was a place for fun and fellowship throughout the summer. Keith and Kathy will be heading out of town again this summer and offered for us to use the house again! PRAISE THE LORD!! or as my friends know I say...JESUS IS REAL!!!
Please continue to pray for me and our ministry team as we continue to seek God's will for what is strategic for us to accomplish in the next 6 months to continue impacting 100 million people with the Gospel! and yes one of those goals over the next 10 years includes deploying 300 INTERNS! need lots of prayer for that one :)
I am still in search of those who would partner with me in financial giving. I am in need of $1300/month to return to New Orleans for good. Contact me at katie.hooks@efca.org if you'd like more info!
Love you guys!
Katie
